Appointments
Dr. Whitmore’s office is less than 100 feet from the 68th Street stop of the Lexington Avenue subway – adjacent to and across the street from Hunter College buildings. The entrance to the office is on the south side of the street, to the left side of the awning as you are facing the Millan House, at 116 East 68th Street.
Office hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. We prefer to see patients by appointment so that ample time can be reserved for each visit. We do reserve time each day for emergencies. If possible, please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This will allow us to accommodate other patients.
If your call is not answered, please leave a detailed message even if it is after hours or on a weekend. Messages are checked regularly. If you have an eye problem, please leave a message before traveling to a hospital. Our office contains specialized equipment that may be needed for your care and may not be available in the hospital emergency room.
